68th REGIMENT INFANTRY.

• Organized at Camp Butler, June 16, 1862 for three months.
• Moved to Wheeling, W. Va., July 5-7,
• thence to Washington, D.C., July 9-10.
• Camp at Soldiers' Retreat and near Alexandria, Va., till August 24.
• Provost duty at Alexandria, Va., till September 17.
• Moved to Camp Butler, Ill., September 17-21.
• Mustered out September 27, 1862.

Regiment lost

• 25 by disease during service.
